HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The breezy conditions will continue overnight tonight. And with a strong southerly flow of winds from 15 to 20 mph gusting to 30, will keep us mild overnight as well. Morning lows with bottom out in the mid to upper 60′s except cooler to the northwest where the cold front has already passed through earlier lows in the upper 40′s to low 50′s There is a slight chance of showers early tomorrow morning as a cold front passes through. This will start us off the day with a few clouds eventually giving way to sunny skies in the afternoon. Winds will shift early morning from south to north northwest 10 to 15 mph but increasing in the afternoon to 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. With a northerly flow behind the front it will keep our daytime highs cooler tomorrow with afternoon highs struggling to get to 70 degrees. Overnight lows tomorrow night will be chilly in the mid to upper 40′s for the Tri-cities but colder out west with lows in the upper 30′s to near 40 degrees.

Sunshine returns on Tuesday, but it’ll be a seasonably cool day with highs in the upper 60′s and lower 70′s. Tuesday night may bring us the coolest night of the season so far with lows in the low to mid 40′s for much of the area. Sunshine continues into the end of the week as temperatures start to warm back up. Highs on Wednesday will be back into the mid to upper 70′s and lower 80′s. On Thursday, it’ll get back to the upper 70′s and low to mid 80′s. Friday will see highs in the mid to upper 70′s and lower 80′s. Breezy conditions subside for Tuesday and Wednesday but return for Thursday ahead of our next cold front.
