HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Cloudy skies will continue into the overnight with a slight chance for drizzle into the early morning hours on Friday. Could see some areas of patchy fog early tomorrow morning as temperatures hover right around the dew point. Low temperatures tonight will range from the upper 40s west to the upper 50s east. Winds will be generally out of the northwest overnight at 5 to 10 mph.

Much of Friday will be dry with a slight chance of showers, mainly in the east. Skies will be mostly cloudy, so it will only be a bit warmer on Friday with highs back into the upper 60s and low to mid 70s. A new area of showers and isolated thunderstorms will lift to the north and northeast into the area late Friday night into Saturday. As the chance for showers increases, the greatest chance will be in our southeastern counties with lower chances to the northwest. As of right now, it looks like there could be rain for the Harvest of Harmony parade in Grand Island, with the better chance toward the end of the parade. There is also a chance for rain for the Husker football game in Lincoln in the evening with the best chance early in the game. Continue to watch future forecasts as confidence increases. Highs temperatures on Saturday will again be in the upper 60s and low to mid 70s.

Sunshine returns to the area Sunday through Wednesday and some very nice autumn weather will settle in. Except a typical morning chill with morning lows in the 40s. Highs later in the day will mostly be in the 70s.
