Hastings High School preps for Harvest of Harmony parade and competition

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Harvest of Harmony parade and competition begins Saturday morning and one local high school is making sure they are ready to put their best foot forward.

Local4 Today joined the Hasting High School band live Friday morning as they made sure their routine was polished and clean.

Director of Bands, Erin Beave tells Local4 Today he and the band can’t wait to compete especially since they missed a year because of COVID-19.

Over 190 entries from a combination of high school bands and floats will travel to Grand Island.

The 79th Annual Harvest of Harmony Parade steps off at 8:15 a.m. in downtown in Grand Island.

Immediately following the parade, the Harvest of Harmony field competition begins, it takes place at the Grand Island Senior High Memorial Stadium.
