The Kearney Police Department and New Life Church to host Faith and Blue event

KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Kearney Police Department and New Life Church will be hosting a community event this Thursday for National Faith & Blue Weekend 2021.

Faith & Blue Weekend is a national event with activities in communities across the country that bring together law enforcement and residents to build connections, create mutual understanding, and enhance justice and reconciliation. The event will be held at Harmon Park on Thursday, October 7 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. There will be bounce houses, a police K-9, a drone demonstration, a firetruck, an ambulance and a meal will be provided. This is a free, family fun event and all are welcome.
