BLUE HILL, Neb. (KSNB) - The Blue Hill Community Schools High School principal was named High School Principal of the Year.

The Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals honored Patrick Moore with the award Tuesday.

This award is present every year to the principal who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in their school, region and state.

The award honors principals who also demonstrate excellence in areas such personal excellence and instruction.

Special Education teacher Maddie Fritz had nothing but great comments about Principal Moore.

“He always puts kids first and he’s great with the staff. Very family oriented, he understands having kids and a young family. But no, I’m not surprised at all that he won this award,” said Fritz.
