HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A few light showers associated with a mid level trough will move across the region this evening and overnight. By tomorrow morning, the rain should be out of the area, but some clouds will remain. Low temperatures tomorrow morning will range from the lower 30s west to the lower 40s east.

Friday will feature clearing skies with partly to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. It will remain a cool day and winds will increase. By the afternoon, they will be out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. High temperatures Friday afternoon will top out in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s with the warmest temperatures in the southeast. Skies will become clear and winds will become light Friday night, leading to another chilly night. Low temperatures will mostly be in the upper 20s and low to mid 30s by Saturday morning.

The weekend is shaping up to be wonderful with plenty of sunshine. After the chilly start, temperatures Saturday afternoon will rise into the mid to upper 60s. Saturday night remains clear with lows back down into the 30s. Sunday will be sunny and warmer with high temperatures reaching the mid 70s. Monday will be another warm one in the low to mid 70s with a few more clouds and breezier winds. Temperatures will then start to cool off toward the middle of the week. Highs on Tuesday will range from the mid 50s northwest to the lower 70s southeast. Winds will be breezy as a cold front pushes through. There will be a slight chance of light rain Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. Wednesday will be cool with highs in the 50s and lower 60s.
