SUPERIOR, Neb. (KSNB) - The Superior community gathered together on Sunday night to remember and mourn the loss of the two victims in the shooting at the Agrex grain elevator.

Leaders from across denominations came together to offer prayers of healing and support for the community. They also sang songs like Amazing Grace and It is Well.

But Sunday night was not the first time support was shown for the people of Superior. Jeff Kimberly drove a Superior high school football team to Hastings for a game. He said while there he experienced love and support.

”You know that there are good people. But to experience that situation where people were walking by and hollering in the door, we are thinking of you,” Kimberly said. “Personally it was emotional I broke down and it was just one of those times. It was just special.”

Attendees of the vigil also got a chance to talk with one another after at a nearby bowling alley.
