HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Local police departments have not identified any credible threats to any schools amidst unsubstantiated rumors about school threats that began to spread on social media this week.
Tiktok also called the rumors “unsubstantiated” Friday. The company said they were removing “alarmist warnings” about supposed violence, because they had found no content on its platform promoting violence at US schools, despite widespread but unsubstantiated rumors.
1/ Update: we've exhaustively searched for content that promotes violence at schools today, but have still found nothing. What we find are videos discussing this rumor and warning others to stay safe.
