CHI Health St. Francis celebrating their first baby of the year
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The new year brought a new baby to one family in grand island on the first day of the year.
Aaliyah Montanez marks the first birth of the year for the hospital in Grand Island. She was born to parents Teresa Contreras and Brayan Montanez welcomed their new daughter into the world on New Year’s Day.
Brayan had a pretty long journey to get back and see his new baby.
“I was on my way back to work working out in Florida, I had made it to about Atlanta I got a buddy so I was staying the night with him we got the call the next morning that she was in labor, I had to turn around right away come back and see my baby girl,” Montanez said.
Aaliyah well be welcomed by her two brothers Zayden and Bryan.
