LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - Nebraska football will be without former starting quarterback Adrian Martinez this season since his departure to Kansas State via the transfer portal.

As such, head coach Scott Frost and his staff are hitting the recruiting trail for potential replacements, which includes Florida State transfer Chubba Purdy.

Purdy is the brother of Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy and he was a four-star prep prospect at Perry High School in Arizona before joining the Seminoles.

Purdy is scheduled to visit the Huskers on Jan. 14, per Sports360AZ.
