HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Leadership Hastings learned about local TV, radio and newspaper coverage Wednesday afternoon at the Hastings Tribune office.

The Leadership Hastings program takes a group of local citizens through a year-long program during which they learn about community assets, learn leadership skills and develop stronger community awareness and involvement.

On Wednesday the group toured the Tribune’s printing plant. They also participated in a media panel discussion featuring Tribune Publisher Darren Fowler, Flood Communications Operations Manager Brad Beahm and Local4 News Director Mark Baumert.

Leadership Hastings Executive Director Mandi Smith said the group also toured Thermo King and Centennial Plastics as part of its Business/Industry/Media day.
