HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Sunday evening! It was a bit cooler today compared to yesterday. In fact, it was anywhere from 10 to 20 degrees cooler with highs generally in the low to mid 40s across the area. It was breezy as well with wind gusts out of the north northwest at 25 to 35 mph at times. As we head into this evening the winds will back off to around 5 to 10 mph and begin to shift out of the west this evening. Temperatures will gradually fall into the 30s after sunset. Overnight skies will be clear which will allow for temperatures to fall off quickly to the low 30s by midnight. With warmer down sloping west winds temperatures will not fall as far as last night. You can expect morning lows on Monday in the low to mid 20s across the region.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be more of a spring day than a winter day. With a warm front moving through the region to our east, westerly flow and sunny skies will allow for temperatures to reach the mid to upper 50s in most areas. Could see a few spots hit the 60 degree mark. Winds will be out of the west northwest around 10 to 15 mph with a few gusts possible to 20 mph at times in the afternoon.

The dry and mild weather will remain with us through the rest of week with highs each day in the 50s. A few dry cold fronts will push through the region not affecting temperatures much but giving us some breezy conditions for Tuesday through Saturday. With the warmer temperatures and breezy winds at times, there are a few days where critical fire weather concerns may develop.
