GISH football’s Fyfe commits to South Dakota State

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island Senior football quarterback Kytan Fyfe ended his recruitment on Monday night, announcing a verbal commitment to South Dakota State.

Fyfe led the Islanders to a 7-4 record and he threw for 1,589 yards and 19 touchdowns, while rushing for 752 yards and eight touchdowns, according to his Twitter. Fyfe also had 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the year and added 61 tackles on defense.

The Jackrabbits finished last season ranked No. 4 in the entire FCS and ended the campaign with an 11-4 record. SDSU has not announced the addition of Fyfe as of yet, indicating he has not signed a National Letter of Intent.
