New job opening at Hastings City Hall

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings City Hall has a new job opening for an assistant city administrator. The job title has been a few years in the making.

According to Hastings city officials, the job was created as a result of the NOVAK study done in 2015. Then last year the city council allocated money to create the position.

The goal of the job is to help streamline city administration duties for Hastings.

The job requirements and duties include a four-year degree in public administration, political science, business management of a closely related field, and two years of experience as a municipal administrator.
