GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Central District Health Department continues to see high number of COVID cases within the three county district.

On January 24, 2022, CDHD reported 1,500 cases in the last seven days. Of those positive cases, there are large number of people ages 10 to 40.

The positivity rate for the district is 70 percent.

The Community Transmission Dial remains in the red with high transmission.

CDHD updates its COVID dashboard every Monday.

The health department continues to encourage people to get vaccinated and to wear masks.
