Two arrested after brief chase in Howard Co.
ST. PAUL, Neb. (KSNB) - On January 24 at 10 p.m., officers with the St. Paul Police Department and Howard County Sheriff’s Office attempted to catch up to a vehicle to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle fled and officers later found the vehicle abandoned at 8th and Baxter Street in St. Paul.
Other officers responded and located both subjects that had run. One subject was located in the 600 block in the alleyway between Howard Ave. and Indian Street. The other individual was located near 8th and Kendal Street. One of the subjects had outstanding Howard and Hall County warrants. Both subjects were arrested.
Charges include: Driving under suspension, flight to avoid arrest, resisting arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a prohibited person, and Possession of burglary tools.
