UPDATE: Two men jailed after Monday night pursuit in St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Neb. (KSNB) - Two men are in jail after a Monday night pursuit in St. Paul.

St Paul Police said officers with help from Howard County Sheriff’s deputies pursued a vehicle which ran from a traffic stop around 10 p.m. Monday night. Officers later found the vehicle abandoned near the corner of 8th and Baxter Streets in south St. Paul.

James Plagge, 27, and Tyler Hale, 21, both of Grand Island, were arrested a short time later. Hale was booked into the Hall County jail for Flight to avoid Arrest, Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a prohibited person, and Possession of Burglary Tools. Plagge was booked into the Hall county jail for Flight to avoid Arrest, Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, Possession of burglary tools and for Driving Under Suspension.
