HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Despite having to start the game going into the wind, the Northwest boys soccer team was able to make quick work of Hastings Thursday night in a 6-1 win.

Peyton Atwood netted the first goal of the game for Northwest after he snuck behind the Tiger defense and sent a low shot to the back of the net.

At one point in the game, the referee had to stop the game because the strong winds were actually blowing one of the goals off the playing surface.

However, wind or no wind, Northwest earned the bragging rights in the rivalry this year with the dominant win.
