One killed in early morning Hamilton County crash

AURORA, Neb. (KSNB) - First responders were on scene of an deadly crash just south of Aurora Tuesday morning.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involving two vehicles happened just before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 14 and 11 Road.

Nebraska State Patrol said a driver in one of the vehicles died as a result of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a Grand Island hospital.

Names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

According to Nebraska 511, Highway 14 was shut down in both north and south directions while authorities investigated the scene.
