HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - As voters head to the polls for Election Day, there may be an uptick compared to years’ past.

Adams County Court Clerk/Election Commissioner Ramona Thomas says, “Here in Adams County it was because we sent out those early voting applications and made it very easy for our voters to participate in early voting. That’s probably going to boost our numbers.”

Across the state, a predicted 35% of voters will cast their ballots for whoever they so choose.

There’s several new polling locations, due to the 2020 census, so Thomas warns people to double check before you head out the door.

“It’s very important that voters, especially this time, do check our website for where they vote. Your polling location may have changed, your precinct may have changed, because some of these boundary lines have changed.”
