HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - As voters head to the polls across Nebraska, in Adams County they’re seeing a good pace of people come through their polling sites.

With new sites in play for 2022, and new districts thanks to the 2020 Census, there haven’t been many issues that have arose so far, according to Adams County officials.

“We did put notices on all of the old polling locations to direct them to how to look up their polling site, so maybe that has helped,” said Adams County Court Clerk Ramona Thomas. “We did also do a mailing prior to the election letting everyone know about the changes.”

For workers at the polls, they want people to just know where to go in order to cast their ballots.

“Make sure they know where they’re going,” said poll messenger Carla Fike. “Yes we have had a few [issues], this is a brand new situation for us but it’s great.”
