OMAHA, Neb. (KSNB) - All of the 2022 State track and field champions have been crowned for Classes A and B. As attentions turn toward Classes C and D on Thursday and Friday, Local4 is reflecting on which area athletes took home gold medals in the first two days.

York’s Kassidy Stuckey won gold medals in both the Class B girls 1,600- and 3,200-meter races with times of 5:14.96 and 11:22.87, respectively.

“It’s an awesome feeling that I’ll remember for the rest of my life,” Stuckey said. “A lot of people don’t get to feel that, but it’s so awesome just to be able to race any time, so I’m just thankful for that.”
