OMAHA, Neb. (KSNB) - The 2022 State Track and Field championships is officially complete. Classes C and D finished up Saturday and Local4 is reflecting on which area athletes took home gold medals.

Carli Bailey from Ansley Litchfield gets herself two gold medals, one in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.22, and another in the 300 meter hurdles with a 47.20 finish.

" It feels great, I don’t know how to explain it really, it’s just a great feeling and I have been working on this for years now” said Bailey after her race. " I have had great coaches, and great team, a lot of people pushing me for this and I am just thankful for it. Our coaches made us run a lot at practice and I am really thankful for that now. All my thanks goes to them, it goes to God, goes to my family and my team.”
