Grand Island man arrested for threatening woman with a gun

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island man has been arrested for assaulting and threatening his child’s mom.
Grand Island Police arrested 29-year-old Augustine Trejo for domestic assault, terroristic threats and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
According to police, it happened early Monday morning at an apartment in the 2000 block of North Wheeler.
The victim, who has a child with Trejo, reported to being assaulted and threatened with a handgun.
Police said the woman had visible injuries from the suspect throwing a phone at her.
A neighbor hear the disturbance and witnesses him with what they believe was a handgun.
He was arrested and transported to the Hall County Jail.
