Kathryn Langrehr will be taking the reins of GISH Girls Basketball after serving as an assistant coach in both volleyball and girls hoops at Senior High.
Bryan Ramallo, a GISH Spanish Teacher, is ready to lead Girls Soccer as he steps into the head coach role after also serving as a GISH Athletic Trainer and Girls Soccer and Wrestling Coach at Walnut Middle School.
James Panowicz is poised to remain head coach for the Boys Soccer program going forward after serving as interim and an assistant coach for many years.
Panowicz takes over following the firing of former Boys Soccer Coach Jeremy Jensen back in April.
GIPS said in a release that they are especially proud that each of these new coaching opportunities have been grown from within our home ranks. It goes on to say as its activities and sports continue to grow they remain committed to providing opportunities for our students to learn, compete, and thrive. Coaches Galusha, Lengrehr, Panowicz, and Ramallo are the right leaders to take these programs into their next chapters.
“We are very excited to welcome these four new head coaches to GISH!” Cindy Wells, GISH Director of Athletics & Activities, shared, “They are all eager to get their programs going this summer and we look for great things to happen for our students and school.”
