GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Texas man faces prison time for three burglaries in west Grand Island.

Aaron Faz, 19, of Plainview, Tex., stands convicted on two counts of felony burglary and is scheduled to be sentenced in August.

Court records show police arrested Faz after burglaries last summer at Mirror Image Carwash, Alohma Vapors and Check Into Cash, all on Diers Avenue in west Grand Island. He was accused of breaking and entering into all three businesses.

In Hall County District Court Thursday, Faz pleaded no contest and was convicted on two of the burglaries. The third count was dropped.

He’s scheduled for sentencing in Hall County District Court on Aug. 4.

The max penalty for a burglary conviction is 20 years in prison.
