Hastings Five Points Bank ends legion season with over 30 wins

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The 2022 Nebraska American Legion Class A National Division Playoffs continued Monday with Hastings Five Points Bank playing in the loser’s bracket against Columbus Cornerstone Christian in a win-or-go-home.

The Chiefs saw their season end in a 6-3 loss to Columbus.

Hastings won its opening round game in the State tournament 7-4 over Elkhorn South to advance, but lost its first in the double elimination bracket 6-0 to Millard West to set up the matchup with Columbus.

The Chiefs end the summer campaign with a 31-12 record.
