A few more days of heat before returning to ‘normal’...
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Wednesday’s weather will be rubber stamped onto Thursday, with nothing much changing. It will still be toasty, with highs in the lower to mid 90s, but not the oppressive kind of heat we saw earlier in the week and will again see heading into the weekend.
The heat will spike Friday into Saturday with highs back into the mid to upper 90s with added humidity sending ‘feels like’ temperatures into the 100 to 106 degree range.
A few random pop up showers or thunderstorms may be possible prior to the weekend, but nothing much to speak of surrounding the Tri-Cities. The weekend brings a chance for more decent rain as a cold front moves in. The best opportunity will come Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Right now severe weather doesn’t seem too probable, but you can never say never this time of year. With the passage of the front, temperatures Sunday through Tuesday should return to “normal” with afternoon highs cooling into the 80s.
