GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - On Saturday, the Super Retriever Series set up camp to continue competition.
Handlers and their dogs being judged on memory, marking and control during hunting tests and and field trails.
" Dogs have to be good at field trials and hunt tests and then have to be able to what they call hunt savvy which is where we try and simulate a true hunting situation with that, so the dog has to be really universal” says Lyle Steinman, a participant of the SRS event.
