MLH Wound Center receives recognition

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Mary Lanning Healthcare Wound Center recently was recognized by its management organization.
Restorix Health awarded MLH Wound Center the Clinical Distinction Award for meeting wound care quality benchmarks.
“This achievement reaffirms the quality of care that the MLH Wound Center staff provides its patients every day,” said Alexandria Donahey, MLH Wound Center Manager. “Despite a daunting pandemic, we have been able to maintain clinical excellence. We are proud to be a recipient of an award that recognizes the hard work and dedication of our staff.”
The Clinical Distinction Award recognizes those centers that have demonstrated success by meeting or exceeding patient safety goals, along with a 90 percent healing rate.
The MLH Wound Center is dedicated to optimizing outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in patients with non-healing wounds. The approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies, and techniques proven to reduce healing time and improve healing rates.
