LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - It’s unfathomable to think Northwest has made the state volleyball tournament for the past 22 years, but the insane state became reality Wednesday in Lincoln. Unfortunately, the 22nd visit in a row ended with a 3-0 loss to Class B top-seed Elkhorn North.
The Wolves sustained a good barrage of attacks from the Vikings early, and rode the arm of Grace Heaney. She led all players with 14 kills in the match to help pace the Wolves over the Vikings in a sweep.
Northwest ends the year with a 21-15 record.
