HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The NSeSA High School Fall Esports State Tournament began at Hastings College Friday with teams in Division I and II competing in several games.

It is the fourth year of the tournament and the first time it’s being hosted by the Broncos in their new stadium inside the Gray Center.

“Getting kids together to play something or to do something that they love is an amazing experience,” NSeSA board member Matt Hinkel said. “Just seeing the kids getting excited about these events, especially when we get here today -- these kids have been playing each other all year. ‘We got second last year, so what is it going to take to win?’ And they have put in hundreds of hours of practice and playing online, and here they are today to see if they can do that.”
