State Fire Marshall investigating a possible arson in Buffalo County

BUFFALO COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Nebraska State Fire Marshall is investigating a fire that happened in Buffalo County on Saturday night.
According to the Buffalo County Sheriff, the fire started in a pasture about three miles west of the Minden Interchange, and just south of I-80. BSC said there was no real damage from the fire.
While fighting the fire they located a 37-year-old man who they said was not supposed to be there. The subject was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney for smoke inhalation.
The State Fire Marshall’s office is taking over the investigation. They’re calling the 37-year-old man a suspect for arson.
The Buffalo County Sheriff declined to release the identity of the man.
