Grand Island residents encouraged to complete Comprehensive Survey
An opportunity for the residents of Grand Island to let their voices be heard
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Residents of Grand Island are being asked to answer a community survey regarding the Grand Island Comprehensive Plan update.
The survey can be found in English or Spanish.
There are additional ways to participate in the comprehensive planning effort by going to the project website.
The website has two additional tools for participation: MindMixer and Crowdsource Map.
MindMixer is an interactive engagement tool which allows people to discuss ideas and issues digitally as opposed to being at a face to face meeting. In the coming weeks, there will be different gift card prizes available for participants of this tool.
Crowdsource Mapping allows individuals to identify key issues, positives, negatives, etc. and to tell the consulting team your story as well as pinpoint key areas of concern. Photos can also be uploaded from your phone to this website to better emphasize the issue.
Finally, visitors to the website can upload general pictures of the “Good, Bad, and the Ugly” of Grand Island to the website for review. You will be asked to indicate the reason for the upload.
“The consulting team really wants to hear from the public regarding Grand Island. This is an excellent opportunity for people to have their voice heard,” said Keith Marvin AICP of Marvin Planning Consultants.
