There should be no shortage of sunshine on Wednesday which will not only raise our disposition but also the temperatures, as we make a run into the lower to middle 30s. The additional moisture in the air from area snow melt, could promote areas of fog Wednesday night into Thursday.

There will be a bit of a snag regarding our warmup this week...on Thursday. A cold front will switch winds to the north which will rake over the snow fields of Northern Nebraska transporting cooler temperatures to the area. Highs on Thursday will range from the 20s to the north to the mid 30s near the Kansas border. Morning temperatures will fall into the low signal digits but then the turnaround begins . Friday will climb back to the low to mid 40s before an upper level high pressure ridge send temps into the 40s for the weekend into early next week.
