Northwest’s Austin Payne signs to Chadron State
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Northwest High hosted a National Signing Day ceremony for star athlete Austin Payne on Friday.
Payne signed with Chadron State to play football.
“You know every school made it tough to not want to go there, but now that the process is over, I am ready to work”, said Payne. “I am ready to go, I love playing football and I know once I get to college I will be able to do that again so I am pretty excited for it. It’s cool to have them here you know, my teammates on the field and my family supporting me off the field so it was just nice to have everybody important to me for my success on and off the field to be here with me”, continued Payne.
