In The Kitchen With Joe: ‘Pad Thai Restaurant’

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Opening in 2021, ‘Pad Thai Restaurant’ has been serving up authentic Thai cuisine to many loyal customers.

“It’s definitely tough, but it’s been good,” said co-owner Joe Bandasack. “A lot of people come in and they kind of mention the old restaurant, so that’s a good feeling. We try to give everyone the best authentic taste we can around here.”

With many different options to try, there’s something for everyone at the restaurant.

“Pad thai, drunken noodles, spicy noodles, we have dom yum, we have papaya salad. Those are kind of staples of Thai food,” explained Bandasack.

His co-owner, Linda Held, also helps out in the kitchen, and appreciates the support from the community.

“Thank you for the people around here to come taste my food. Thanks for that,” said Held.
