HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - This mild weather pattern overall will continue, with a brief hiccup in temperatures by the end of the week before we pick up where we left off for the weekend. Skies will clear out late Monday night, leaving temperatures in the lower 30s for much of the overnight before dipping into the mid to upper 20s for early morning lows on Tuesday.

We’ll continue to enjoy mostly sunny skies Tuesday and Wednesday while we maintain temperatures from the low and upper 40s into the lower 50s. Wednesday night a surface low will track out of the Southern Plains, but will stay far enough east to, by and large miss Nebraska, though a case could be main for an isolated shower over southeast areas.

Thursday is when our weather will briefly change as an upper level disturbance drops southeast from the Northern Rockies. A swath of light snow will sweep from northwest to southeast across the state. Accumulations will be light...on the upper end, amounts only around an inch.

Accumulation will be light, from a dusting to maybe an inch on the high end.
