Revive Ministries celebrates their 15 year anniversary
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - In 2008, Revive Ministries was created in order to help the underprivileges, as well as those dealing with addiction.
”That’s why we created the nonprofit,” said Director Dan Rutt. “To allow us to come alongside them and if they’re doing really, really well in a program, we help them with financial support.”
The celebration was held by the Hastings Chamber of Commerce, and included a breakfast. This is an event not uncommon to the Chamber, and they were happy to help signify this big milestone for Revive Ministries.
”The work that they do, a lot of it is behind the scenes, so a lot of people don’t always know about it,” explained Mikki Shafer, President of the Chamber of Commerce. “Events like this are nice to get people aware of it so if they do need help, and any services getting information out, or even just the clients themselves are needing services, people are able to be aware of it and help them out.”
Revive is also currently in the midst of their “It Takes a Village” campaign in order to help raise money to alleviate their debt, which is 92% paid off.
