St. Cecilia girls basketball soars to Class D1 semifinals

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The NSAA state girls basketball tournament began in Lincoln Wednesday. No. 4 Hastings St. Cecilia took on No. 5 Elmwood-Murdock.
The Hawkettes are the reigning Class C2 champions and advanced to the Class D1 semifinals in a 49-37 win over the Knights.
