Cross County girls basketball finishes season as Class C2 quarterfinalist

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The Class C2 quarterfinals of the NSAA state girls basketball tournament began Thursday. No. 8 Cross County faced top-seed Crofton.
It was the Cougars first appearance at state since 2006, but their journey ends in the quarterfinals after a 49-27 loss to the Warriors.
