McCool Junction girls basketball upset in Class D2 quarterfinals

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The Class D2 quarterfinals of the NSAA state girls basketball tournament began in Lincoln Thursday. No. 4 McCool Junction drew No. 5 Humphrey St. Francis.
The Mustangs hadn’t been to state in around 20 years, but they were upset in the quarterfinals via a 61-54 loss to the Flyers.
