Shelton girls basketball upset in Class D2 semifinals

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The semifinal round of the Class D2 state girls basketball tournament began Friday. No. 2 Shelton took on No. 6 Wynot.
The Bulldogs, coming off a state runner-up finish in Class D1 last season, could not advance back to the championship game in D2. The Blue Devils pulled off the upset to win 43-36.
Shelton will play No. 5 Humphrey St. Francis in the third place game Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Lincoln Northwest.
