Amherst boys basketball advances to Class C2 semifinals in OT win

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The quarterfinal round of the Class C2 state boys basketball tournament began in Lincoln Thursday. No. 2 Amherst took on No. 7 Norfolk Catholic at the Devaney Center.
The Broncos and Knights played a close game throughout and needed to go to overtime to settle a winner. Amherst did enough in the extra period to pull out a 57-49 win and advance to the Class C2 state semifinals.
