Doniphan-Trumbull boys basketball ends season as Class C2 quarterfinalist

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The quarterfinal round of the NSAA Class C2 state boys basketball tournament began in Lincoln Thursday. No. 3 Doniphan-Trumbull took on No. 6 Tri County.
The Cardinals led by six with one minute left in the third quarter, but the Trojans were able to come back and ended up advancing to the Class C2 semifinals in a 56-41 in. DT ends the year as one of the eight best Class C2 teams in the state.
