Adams Central presents ‘The Addams Family: School Edition’

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It’s time to snap your fingers, as Adams Central presents ‘The Addams Family: School Edition’.

Director Megan Lewandowski said the students have been hard at work crafting their characters, in preparation for the show.

”It’s one thing when they’re just singing the songs and learning the lines and everything, but then everything’s memorized and they just start coming up with ideas on their own of how they’re gonna be that character. They surprise me and my co-director all the time with new things. Every night there’s something new and it’s even more fun,” Lewandowski said.

For the students, being involved in theater has been rewarding.

”It’s super fun, it’s always so easy playing a different role, and just getting to know new people and learning to work with people as a team, especially when at the end of it it all comes together,” Kaley Waite, who plays “Grandma” in the show, said. “It’s so fun and I think it’s a great experience in theater.”

The show is running this weekend, starting Friday at 7 p.m. There will be a show at 7 p.m. on Saturday and a 2:30 p.m. show on Sunday.
