Imagination City closes until able to relocate away from mall
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The doors are closed for the time being at Grand Island’s only children’s museum.
Imagination City Children’s Museum announced on Facebook on Monday that due to unforeseen circumstances the museum is closed until they are able to relocate.
Imagination City is currently in the Conestoga Mall, which is currently being redeveloped into the Conestoga Marketplace. The nonprofit urges people to continue to support their cause, including during Go Big Give as they are one of the more than 150 nonprofits taking part.
Earlier this month, Local4 spoke with Imagination City Director Laura Johnson about how she hopes the community can rally behind them until they can get into a new location with better exposure and whatnot.
The kid’s museum added to keep an eye on their Facebook page for any upcoming events or fundraising efforts to help them open back up in a new location.
