In The Kitchen With Joe: ‘Y’all Come Back Saloon’

ORD, Neb. (KSNB) - Six years ago, Evelyn Schaaf and her husband decided to open a bar in Ord.

“I’m like ‘Okay I can cook. Let’s buy the bar and start up some food and see how it goes,’” explained Schaaf.

Whipping up delicious meals like lasagna and steak, along with the traditional bar food, it will leave your taste buds wanting more.

“I do grilled chicken, meatloaf, I try to keep it more of the home base meals, but depending on the time of the year too on what we make for a meal,” said Schaaf. “We do an evening special on Tuesday and Wednesday nights as well.”

It’s not just the food that Schaaf loves about owning ‘Y’all Come Back Saloon.’

“I love to see people from different areas coming through the door and then telling us how good the food is and how they like the place and the nice building. It’s always great to hear good things about your business,” said Schaaf.
