OMAHA, Neb. (KSNB) - The semifinals of the Class B state boys soccer tournament featured a rematch between Lexington and Omaha Skutt Catholic Saturday.

The Skyhawks have ended the Minutemen’s season in the state championship each of the last two seasons, preventing Lexington from winning their first state title.

This year, the two teams met in the semifinal round. The Minutemen conceded goals in the 19th and 52nd minute to fall into a 2-0 hole. Antonio Moro got one back for Lexington in the 79th minute to make it 2-1, but it was too little, too late.

The Skyhawks won 2-1 to advance to the Class B state championship, while the Minutemen ended the season as a state semifinalist and a 16-4 overall record.
