Central Nebraska Class C & D track & field champions crowned at state

OMAHA, Neb. (KSNB) - The third day of the NSAA state track & field championships featured the first day of competition for Classes C and D.
Several champions were crowned state champions with gold medals from the Local4 viewing area. Here are those you can see in our coverage:
- St. Cecilia’s Jenson Anderson wins the Class C boys high jump clearing 6-6.
- Superior’s Ella Gardner defends her Class C girls long jump state title with a leap of 18-9.
- Kearney Catholic freshman Alyssa Onnen won the Class C girls pole vault clearing 12-4.
- BDS senior JessaLynn Hudson won the Class D girls discus with a throw of 138-2.
- Hitchcock County’s Keegan Shuler won the Class D boys shot put with a throw of 56-0.75
- Nebraska Christian’s Hannah Swanson won the Class D girls 3200-meter run with a time of 12:00.73
- Axtell defended its title in the Class D boys 4x800-meter relay with a time of 8:22.88
- Chase County won the girls 4x800-meter relay with a time of 10:00.03
- South Loup’s Abby Stallbaumer won the Class C girls discus with a throw of 141-10.
